It is always heartening for us to witness the unwavering commitment and dedication of the Tara Trust Team, led by the guiding hands of Dr. Katharina Poggendorf Kakar and her husband, Dr. Sudhir Kakar. Our friendship with Katha spans almost two decades, and in our enduring association with Tara Trust, we count ourselves truly fortunate for having known them. We express our gratitude to Tara Trust for providing us the opportunity to do our bit for those in need. We are happy that now, by associating Bungalow 2 with Tara Trust, we are able to extend our contributions a step further.
Tara Trust is a registered non-profit organization in Goa, India, established in 2008 with the mission to empower, educate and enable marginalized children to improve their lives.
For the past eleven years, artist and writer Katharina Kakar has spearheaded the work of her NGO Tara Trust – a creative force for empowerment and social change.
