Bungalow 2 is very centrally located. As residents of Jodhpur, we think being in a medium-sized city is a blessing. It does not take much time to go from point A to point B, and there are fewer traffic jams in the city.
We are just a kilometer away from Umaid Bhawan Palace and 4.7 km from Meharangarh Fort. It takes only a short 10 minutes drive, both, to the Jodhpur Airport (4.5 km), and to the Jodhpur Railway Station (3.5 km).
Air Connectivity
We have a small, but well-connected airport operating domestic flights in and out to New Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur and Bombay with airlines like Air India, Indigo and Alliance Air flying daily during the travel season. It is a single-building airport and passengers walk from the terminal to the aircraft.Â
It is important to note that flights may get canceled at any time due to fog or ‘bad weather’ in Delhi during winters (November to February).
Road Connectivity
As Jodhpur is centrally located in Rajasthan, and because of numerous business opportunities, it has become a frequently visited destination for businessmen and travelers alike. We are well connected by very good roads to: Jaipur (333 kms), Udaipur (252 kms), Jaisalmer (282 kms), Bikaner (251 kms), and other major cities of Rajasthan.
Jodhpur is a major railway junction and is well connected through the Indian Railway Network to the rest of the country. Some of the major cities that you can reach from Jodhpur: Delhi, Jaipur, Pushkar/Ajmer, Bikaner, Kota/Bundi, Ahmedabad and many more.
The latest Indian fast train “Vande Bharat Express” Jodhpur to Ahmedabad has been launched recently, and soon this fast train will also connect Jodhpur to Jaipur with a journey time of less than 2 hrs.
